The Maton SRS70C from the Solid Road Series features Tasmanian Blackwood Back and Sides, Solid Spruce Top, Scalloped Bracing, Queensland Maple Neck, Ebony Fingerboard and Bridge. With a rich and warm, yet bright and powerful tone, the SRS70C is a guitar built for the both rigours of the road and the studio alike.
The Maton SRS70C features the Maton AP5 Pro Pickup System. The AP5 Pro features a piezo pickup and a microphone, with separate input controls allowing for blending of both microphone and piezo levels prior to sending the actively combined signals through to the master volume. The AP5 Pro pickup features bass, treble, mid and FQ (mid sweep) controls, allowing a high degree of control when targeting your specific sound. With improved body construction, bracing patterns and neck geometry, Maton acoustic guitars product stunning results. The SRS70C's top and back is able to resonate more freely, achieving a huge dynamic range. Improved neck/body geometry results in a neck that is easier to play. Difficult chord shapes and complex single note runs are easier to execute and increased tonal response improves acoustic projection. A bone nut and saddle ensure maximum tone and sustain.
