This new era focuses on an updated shell construction, new Rapid Tom sizes, and stunning new looks! Formed at Ludwig’s factory in Monroe, NC, USA, the shell features a 7-ply crossover design, made up of a 4-ply maple exterior and 3-ply cherry interior, measuring at 5.5 mm thick. This design produces full-range tuning and optimum sustain. Drummers can choose from a selection of six new finishes—three new wraps and three modern painted finishes: Butterscotch Pearl, Ebony Pearl, and Steel Blue Pearl, along with Satin Royal Blue, Satin Diablo Red, and Satin Golden Slumbers.

The shell pack includes: 14" x 24" Bass Drum, 16" x 16" Floor Tom, and 9" x 13" Tom Tom

Note: Snare, cymbals, and hardware are not included.

Shell
The Neusonic series features a 7-ply crossover shell, combining a 4-ply maple exterior and a 3-ply cherry interior. Produced at Ludwig’s Monroe, NC, USA factory, the shell is 5.5 mm thick for optimal resonance and sustain.

Bearing Edge
Neusonic series shells are equipped with a single 45-degree bearing edge with a 1/16" back cut, offering wide-range tuning abilities and optimal sustain.

RFST Molding
To increase stability throughout the drum, all Ludwig USA shells are produced using Radio Frequency Technology (R.F.S.T). This process, which utilizes Ludwig’s original bladder molds from the 1960s, features a unique bonding system combined with a specialized adhesive to cure each shell evenly over the entire surface. This process is the defining ingredient of the signature "Ludwig Sound."
